To open the 2021 ETC conference, CanREA launches its new Vision for 2050. CanREA’s Vision is a call to action, calling on Canada to dramatically accelerate the deployment of wind, solar and energy storage as the core element in a massive expansion of clean electricity production in order to meet this country’s legislated target of net-zero GHG emissions by 2050.
In this session, CanREA’s CEO Robert Hornung will present CanREA’s Vision for the future, including the role wind, solar and energy storage must play to achieve Canada’s net-zero journey, the scale of the effort required, and the actions that need to be taken immediately to drive success. Following the presentation, stakeholders representing a range of interests will discuss the relevance of CanREA’s Vision for their communities and for Canada.
