CanREA, the Italian German Exhibition Group, and RE+ Events have become aware of several instances of attendees, exhibitors, and partners receiving solicitations from vendors either impersonating ETC 2023, CanREA, the Italian German Exhibition Group or RE+ Events or who are unaffiliated with ETC 2023 or its parent organizations attempting to mislead consumers regarding room block reservations, the sale of attendee lists, advertising opportunities, etc.…

Please exercise caution when interacting with vendors or potential offers related to ETC 2023 and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate contact person listed below.

Attendee List Scams

CanREA and RE+ Events do not sell attendee lists for our events. Any offers to rent or purchase lists related to ETC are fraudulent.

Exhibitor Warning

For all exhibitors at ETC 2023, we urge you to be cautious to avoid booking services through any vendor not listed as an official contractor in the Exhibitor Resource Guide. Official vendor partners of ETC will never send emails from a non-business account such as Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc....

The official vendor for Exhibitors at ETC 2023 is the BMO Centre and no other convention services. The General Service Contractor for ETC 2023 is GES and the AV provider is Encore. If you are approached by a non-official vendor or are unsure of a vendor’s affiliation, please reach out to sales@re-plus.com for verification and/or further information.

Predatory Housing Reservation Offers

We have worked diligently and thoughtfully to secure hotel blocks that are within close proximity to the conventions center at the lowest rates. Our goal is to include a mix of different hotel brands at a variety of prices to meet the diverse needs of our participants. Booking through our verified vendor is the only way to guarantee the best rates and safe transactions for housing reservations at ETC 2023.

Unfortunately, in the past some exhibitors and attendees have fallen prey to these companies and have either lost significant deposits or have not received the hotel rooms they originally booked. Reservations made through any agency other than Marriot Bonvoy will be at your own risk.

If you do receive a solicitation from a company claiming to have hotel block reservations for ETC 2023, please notify customerservice@re-plus.com so that we may take any appropriate action. Please remember, we do not sell, trade, or rent any of the information we receive from our attendees, exhibitors, or partners.
